We are the Orphan Welfare Association of Baqa’a Refugee Camp.
We have a Friday program every week. The activities include a Photography workshop, Journalism workshop, Art Workshop, Arabic Calligraphy workshop, Culture class, and an ABC English program. Check out the video below to learn more!
As well, we also play games and go on field trips on Fridays… like the below photo in Ajloun!
We also have a Saturday Program every week. In this program, we study English, read books, play games, and work on projects together. Our two main projects are a Pen-Pal exchange project with a 9th grade class in Acton, MA, USA and an autobiography writing project.
This blog is for sharing student work. We have many photographs, articles, writings, and drawings to share. These works tell our stories and our experiences. We are happy to share them with you!
